Szatmári Konzervgyár Kft. is located in the north-eastern part of Hungary, which is the region of the finest vegetables and fruits in that part of the country.
Our products are made exclusively from natural ingredients, which are completely free of preservatives, colourings, flavour enhancers and other synthetic materials.
Our product portfolio includes a wide range of processed fruits and vegetables. We can produce conventional, BIO, Kosher products.

Our traditionally good production and sales experience started in 1964. Our factory is located in the middle of a prime agricultural land, which provides fresh raw materials for production.

WHY US?
Our country’s natural resources provide an ideal environment for growing high-quality fruits and vegetables. The region’s crops are rich in flavour and nutrients, and have a considerable market potential. Continuous improvement, adaptation to new nutritional trends, high food safety standards and environmental awareness are all important aspects of production.
We place particular emphasis on the production of organic sour cherries, peas, sweetcorn and beetroot, of which we double our production volumes every year. Our raw materials from certified organic farming, such as sweetcorn, green peas and sour cherries, are richer in nutrients, vitamins, minerals and health-promoting ingredients.
Our company has been successfully operating HACCP and the internationally accepted IFS Food Version 6 (International Featured Standards), BRC version 7, EU BIO, ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001:2015, and other quality and environmental management systems for more than 10 years. All our products are manufactures from GMO free raw material.

SUSTAINABILITY
We provide professional advice to help farmers protect their soil and use as few pesticides as possible.
In the technological design of production lines, we strive to reduce the environmental impact of production, for example in the usage of water.
We have a biological wastewater treatment system, where untreated wastewater is treated with bacterial cultures that improve the parameters (COD and organic matter content) of the effluent.

CAPACITY AND PRODUCTION
Every year we produce around 100 million products in our factory, which means around 30,000 tonnes of finished products.
Our products are made from vegetables and fruit such as cucumbers, beetroot, green peas, sweetcorn, cherries and apples.
PRODUCTS IN COOPERATION PRODUCTION
We are proud to have 80% of our products on the international market in different European countries.
In Hungary, more than 50% of sales are products with Rege brand, while the others are offered as private label products of the domestic retail chains.
